Cat Tales
A Minecraft cat addon made by a cat-loving girl and her dad, for playdates on her Nintendo Switch 2.
Where things stand
v0.1 playtest build is done and tested on the server. All 44 automated gameplay checks passed — every cat spawns, tames, takes naps, and behaves. Now we're waiting on the very first Switch playtest: that's when a real kid gets to see if the cats look and feel right. Everything on this site is about the family's private server — there's no download yet.
Meet the five cats
Every cat has a spawn egg in the Creative inventory (search "Cat Tales" or the cat's name), and every one becomes your friend on the very first fish.
Galaxy Cat
Deep space purple with twinkling star speckles. The night sky in cat shape.
Collar: yellow
Cotton Candy Cat
Fluffy blue fur with a candy-pink face — sweet as the fairground treat.
Collar: pink
Peppermint Cat
Red and white like the candy, with a minty-green collar.

Golden Cat
Shiny gold from ears to tail — the treasure of the bunch.

What the cats can do
Tames on the first fish
Feed a raw cod or salmon — no sad failed attempts. Taming always works (that part was on purpose).
Follows, teleports, sits
A tamed cat follows you around, teleports if you get far away, and sits when you ask.
Kittens!
Feed two tamed cats fish and a kitten appears. Kittens grow up into adult cats.
Morning gifts
Tamed cats that sleep near you at night can bring you a present in the morning.
Spawn eggs
In Creative mode, search "Cat Tales" to find all five spawn eggs.
Leash them, drop them anywhere
Cats can be leashed and take no fall damage — perfect for adventurous kids.
